I, too, am a Lanark resident/taxpayer, and am concerned where my tax dollars are spent. I also take great pride in our town that I've lived in and around my entire life.

Muskoseepi Park's First Footing New Year's Eve Celebration. Family fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with sleigh rides, entertainment, children's crafts, clowns, indoor mini-golf, skating on the pond and more. Fireworks to follow at 10 p.m. over the Bear Creek reservoir. Admission is a food bank donation.

Autism Awareness:Easing Fear in a Crisis
Increasing awareness between families affected by autism and law enforcement could greatly improve situations like what we experienced. Everyone involved would benefit. I hope this program is an idea that catches on.
